Lois June Bettencourt, age 74 of Willits, California and Harrison, Arkansas passed away Tuesday, September 18, 2012 at Hospice of the Hills Hospice House in Harrison.

The daughter of Guy Oliver and Ruth (Rogers) Deakins was born February 9, 1938 in Fairfax, Oklahoma.

She was preceded in death by her parents; one sister, Martha Ann Bettencourt; two brothers, Kenny Guy Deakins and Martin Dean Deakins; a sister-in-law, Joyce Deakins; a grandson, Christopher Bourquin; and a great-granddaughter, Elizabeth Bourquin.

Survivors are her husband, Louis Bettencourt of the home; her son, Doug Bourquin and wife Sheila of Harrison; daughters, Debbie Flores and husband Herb of Benton, Arkansas and Cheryl Dunlap of Longview, Texas; step-sons, Nick Bettencourt and wife Christa of Santa Rosa, California and John Bettencourt of California; two brothers, Cecil Deakins and wife Lynn of Dover, Delaware and John Deakins of Lancaster, California; a sister-in-law, Neva (Deakins) Norvell of Harrison; ten grandchildren; ten great-grandchildren; and many nieces, nephews, and very close friends.

There was no visitation.

Service was Thursday, September 20, 2012 at Coffman Funeral Home Chapel.

Burial followed in Hilltop Cemetery with her grandsons serving as pallbearers.
