Linda Kay Randell, age 60 of Harrison, passed away at her home on Friday, July 11, 2008.
The daughter of James R. and Bernice (Kugler) Swinford, she was born September 2, 1947 in Mattoon, Illinois.
She had lived here since Nov. 2000, moving from Anchorage, Alaska. Linda was employed as an administrative assistant for Re-Max Realty in Harrison.
Survivors include her husband, Richard Randell, whom she married Oct. 1, 1986 in Anchorage, Alaska.
Also surviving are her father, James R. Swinford of Mattoon, Illinois; two brothers, James Michael Swinford of Sun City, Arizona and Charles Patrick Swinford of Reno, Nevada; a step-son, Ronald Randell and wife, Kim of Nashville, Tennessee and a step-daughter, Angela Miller and husband, Wade also of Nashville, Tennessee; and 6 grandchildren who were the joy and light of her life.
Linda's body was donated to Genesis "The Gift of Life" Medical Education and Research Institute.
A memorial service will be held at a later date.
