Linda Halbmaier of Lead Hill, Arkansas passed away Tuesday, September 20, 2016 at the age of 72.
The daughter of Harold and Virginia (Stults) Whitenack was born December 27, 1943 in Portland, Indiana.
Linda moved to Lead Hill, Arkansas in 1978 from Hampshire, Illinois. She was a homemaker and the matriarch of her large family. She loved gardening, reading, crocheting, watching detective movies and taking in stray dogs, but her family was her life. She was a beloved wife, mother and grandmother who loved her family deeply.
She was the wife of Thomas Halbmaier of Lead Hill for 48 years. She was the mother to eight sons and two daughters, Darald Halbmaier and wife Patty of Cassville, MO, Randy Halbmaier of Hollister, MO, Dennis Halbmaier and wife Joyce of Coushatta, LA, Debbie DeVore and husband
Rob of Bergman, Toby Packard and wife Sabrina of Hot Springs, Kevin Halbmaier and wife Dianna of Diamond City, Joe Halbmaier of Springdale, Stacey Valentin and husband Rodney of Bergman, Tom Halbmaier and wife Carol of Bentonville, and Josh Halbmaier of Lead Hill. She was the sister to Marjorie Hudson of Harrison. She was Granny to 25 grandchildren, 40 great grandchildren and any other child who walked through her doors. She also loved her many nieces and nephews. She will be missed by so many.
She was preceded in death by her parents and two grandchildren, Maegan Noelle Burt and Christina Lynn Halbmaier, and her nephew, Mike Johnson.
Services will be held at 2:00 PM, Saturday, September 24 at Lighthouse Bible Church in Diamond City with Pastor Willie Bousquet officiating.
Visitation will be held one hour prior to services at the church.
Pallbearers will be her sons Darald, Randy, Dennis, Toby, Kevin, Joe, Tom and Josh.
