Linda Joyce Caton, born on October 5, 1946, in Little Rock, Arkansas, passed away at her home on July 3, 2026, surrounded by the loving presence of her family. Her departure leaves a tender void in the hearts of those who were fortunate to know her. Linda was a beacon of warmth and compassion, whose life was dedicated to the service of others and her unwavering faith.

Linda was the cherished daughter of the late William Felton Crook and Sylvia Eloise (Manley) Crook. She is preceded in death by her beloved son, Raymond Caton, and her brothers, Bill and Colby Crook. Her in-laws, Woodrow and Etha Caton, and sister and brother-in-law, Patsy and John Paul Hefley, also predeceased her, leaving behind a legacy of strong family bonds.

In 1971, Linda embarked on a beautiful journey of love and partnership when she married Jackie Caton on August 27th in Harrison, Arkansas. Their enduring union was blessed with the joys of family, including their surviving son, Dana Caton, and his wife, Susan. Linda's heart overflowed with love for her granddaughter, Gabi Joy Caton, whom she helped to raise with boundless affection and wisdom.

Linda's professional journey was as diverse as it was fulfilling. She held numerous roles throughout her life, each contributing to her rich tapestry of experiences. She served as an editor at the Harrison Daily Times, embraced the open road as a truck driver, delighted many as the owner of The Ice Cream Shop in the Harrison Mall, Tyson Layer Egg Producer and many other occupations. Her varied career reflected her adventurous spirit and unwavering work ethic.

Deeply rooted in her faith, Linda was an active Jehovah's Witness. Her greatest joy was in serving Jehovah and sharing the teachings of his son, Jesus Christ, with those around her. This devotion was the guiding light of her life, shaping her actions and interactions with others.

Outside of her professional and spiritual endeavors, Linda was a natural caregiver. Her nurturing spirit was evident in her dedication to caring for her son, Raymond, and later in life, her beloved granddaughter, Gabi. Linda's presence was a source of comfort and strength, and she embodied the essence of selfless love.

Linda's legacy will continue through her surviving family members, including her devoted husband, Jackie; her son, Dana, daughter-in-law, Susan; her adored granddaughter, Gabi; her brother, Jimmy Crook, and his wife, Patience; her sister-in-law, Mary Eddings, and her husband, Glenn; and a host of nieces and nephews who will carry forward her memory and the values she instilled in them.
