Obituary

Abraham Lincoln Brown, age 91 of Harrison, Arkansas passed away Monday January 28, 2019 in Harrison.

The son of David Washington and Minnie B. (Wallace) Brown was born on August 8, 1927 in Valley Springs, Arkansas.

Lincoln proudly served in the United States Navy during World War II.  He later worked for Pepsi-Cola for 41 years.  He loved all things outdoors and was an avid hunter of deer, elk, turkey, pheasant and quail.  He was an expert marksman and enjoyed reloading many rounds of ammunition for friends and family.

He was preceded in death by his parents; his wife, Wanda L. Brown; a son, Joe David Brown and a brother, Biff Brown.

He is survived by a daughter, Carol Buck; 3 grandchildren, Ashley Thompson, Hannah Richesin and Tess Richesin; 3 great-grandchildren, Gage Thompson, Jaxon Richesin and Adileigh Richesin and many other family and friends who will mourn his passing.

Services will be held Friday February 1, 2019 at 1:00 pm at the Coffman Funeral Home Chapel in Harrison with Rev. Glenn Crenshaw officiating.  Burial will follow in Maplewood Cemetery.  Visitation will be held Thursday evening from 5:00 to 7:00 at the funeral home.

Pallbearers include Jeff VanDyke, Greg Potts, Jack Colston, David Ferron, Jim Joe Mallard and Billy Wallace.
