Lillian Mae Wiskur, age 91 of Harrison, Arkansas died peacefully at her home on Tuesday, February 22, 2011.
There was aa graveside service at Maplewood Cemetery on Friday, February 25, 2011. Visitation was Thursday, February 24, 2011 at Coffman Funeral Home.
Pallbearers were Jeffrey Wiskur, Sheldon Walker, Greg O'Dell, Andy Watson, Pete Wiskur, Brandt Wiskur, Mel Hankins, and John Sherman.
Honorary pallbearers were the staff of Hospice of the Hills and Billy John O'Dell.
Lillian was a loving and devoted wife, mother, and grandmother.
She was a member of First Baptist Church of Harrison and held memberships in the UFCD doll club, Arkansas Travelers Club, and the American Kennel Club.
Lillian was very independent and loved to travel. She could find the diamond in the rough at any yard sale, auction, or doll show.
She had many collection interests but was most passionate about antique dolls. Talented and creative, she gave full attention and support to any endeavor she approached. Lillian would make detailed, historic outfits for her antique dolls and baby beds and accessories for her granddaughters' dolls. She was a skilled seamstress, a professional show-dog breeder, and an accomplished singer.
She njoyed music of all styles. Played violin, piano, mandolin, and organ; she even took dulcimer lessons when she moved to the Ozarks.
Lillian was always encouraging and ready to promote her family in their endeavors.
She is survived by her son, Darrell Wiskur and his wife, Patricia; her grandchildren, Scott Wiskur, Bud Wiskur, Jeff Wiskur, Wendy O'Dell, Amy Prowell, Brandt Wiskur, Stephanie Watson, Pete Wiskur, and their spouses. She was Mee Maw to Julie, Katie, Lindsey, Ben, Eric, Sam, Roy, Tori, Clara, Gwen, Drew, Sara, Emma, Lucy, Stephanie, Ben, Blair, Tristen, and Ethan.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Ralph,her brother, Wallace her son, Dennis,and her grandson, Timothy.
