Lillian M. Galloway, age 72 of Harrison, passed away Thursday, Nov. 8, 2007 at the Hospice House in Harrison. The daughter of George Washington and Nora Ann (Farmer) Flippo, was born May 30, 1935 at Parthenon, Arkansas.

She had retired from White Rodgers Electric, was a homemaker and a member of the Eagle Heights Baptist Church. She enjoyed being outdoors, especially working in her flowers and also loved spending time with her family.

She was preceded in death by her parents; brothers, Devoe, Vernon and George Flippo; her sisters, Virgie Hicks, Della Jones, Pearl Monnier, Betty Johnson and Norene Griffith; one son, Lonnie Galloway.

Survivors include two daughters: Charlotte Dillon and husband, Jerry of Harrison and Patricia McKean and husband, Jim of Elgin, Texas; one brother, Boyd Flippo and wife, Doris of Harmon; one sister, Ruby Garrett of Everton; six gandchildren, Derecca Ables and husband, Vance, Wesley Davis, Ami Galloway, Craig Galloway, Megan Galloway, and Grant McKean; three great grandchildren, Laramie Galloway, Faith and Alex Davis; and many nieces and nephews.

Palbearers were Vance Ables, Steve Monnier, David Hicks, Wesley Davis, Steve Cavender, J. R. Renfro, Nat Galloway and Richard Brown. Honorary pallbearers were staff of Hospice of the Hills, Blake Chitsey, and Dr. Ali Abdelaal.

Visitation was Sunday, November 12, 2007 with service on Monday, November 12, 2007 at Coffman Funeral Home in Harrison. Burial followed at Maplewood Cemetery. Dr. Tommy Turner officiated.
