Levi Edwards, age 70 of Omaha, Arkansas passed away Monday, May 28, 2012 at North Arkansas Regional Medical Center in Harrison, Arkansas.
The son of Corbet and Dorothy (Andrews) Edwards was born January 26, 1942 in Burlington, Arkansas.
Levi was a veteran of the U.S. Army and a member of Burlington Baptist Church. He was a very talented carpenter and was a friend to all who met him.
One of his favorite things was enjoying his grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
Survivors are Carol Edwards of Harrison; children, Douglas Edwards, Ellen Lindsey and Sue Eddings all of Harrison; brothers and sisters, Mary Jones of Warsaw, Missouri, James Edwards of Omaha, Arkansas, Edward Edwards of Alpena, Arkansas, Joe Edwards of Alpena, Arkansas, Dorothy Booth of Forsyth, Missouri, June Smith of Harrison, Annie Atwell of Georgetown, Louisiana, Dale Edwards of Phoenix, Arizona, Loraine Keys of Garrison, Montana, Archie Edwards of Calico Rock, Arkansas, Hellen Lupton of Ozark, Missouri, and Edgar Edwards of Calico Rock, Arkansas; five grandchildren, Ashley Edwards, Jarrod Edwards, Trisha Lindsey, Adam Lindsey, and Amber Eddings; and two great-grandchildren.
Visitation 6-8 P.M. Thursday, May 31, 2012 at Coffman Funeral Home Chapel in Harrison.
Service 10 A.M. Friday, June 1, 2012 at Burlington Baptist Church with Bro. James Edwards and Leroy Edwards officiating.
Burial will follow in Burlington Cemetery with pallbearers being Fred Truelove, Claude Flippo, Robert Rowe, Garland Blevins, Terry Blevins, Richard Flippo, and Leroy Edwards.
Honorary pallbearer is Billy Joe Jones.
