Leta Fern Henderson, age 83 of Wayton, AR, passed away Saturday, January 18, 2025, at her home.

The daughter of Floyd Talmidge Kilgore and Walcie Mae (Collins) Kilgore Wise was born August 10, 1941, in Jasper, AR.

Leta is preceded in death by her parents, her husband, Roy Earl Henderson, brother, Ira Kilgore, sister, Alta Clayborn, and step-grandson, William Earl Villines.

Leta was a member of the Wayton United Baptist Church.  She enjoyed gardening, cooking, sewing, and hosting music parties at the Legion Hut and different places.  She also enjoyed canning, quilting, and spending time with her family.

Leta is survived by her daughters, Donna Farmer and husband Russell of Harrison, AR, Linda Kilburn and husband Ricky of Jasper, AR; stepdaughters, Jolena Villines of Jasper and June Coonts of Jasper; her son, Jamie Henderson of Wayton, AR; her brother Orville Kilgore of Laurie, MO; 9 grandchildren; 3 step-grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren; 6 step-great-grandchildren; 3 step great-great-grandchildren and a host of nieces and nephews.

The funeral service will be at 2:00 PM Wednesday, January 22, 2025, at Coffman Funeral Home in Jasper with Pastor James Compton officiating. Burial will follow in Wayton Cemetery.

Pallbearers will be Tucker Kilburn, Josh Farmer, Jefferey Villines, Steve Kilgore, Justin Henderson, and Robert Farmer.

Honorary pallbearers are Brock Henderson, Jesse Farmer, Robbie Villines, and Martin Kilburn.
