Leslie Richard Hinchman, age 77 of Harrison, Arkansas passed away Friday, January 30, 2009 at Hospice of the Hills Hospice House in Harrison.
The son of M.F. and Catherine (Edgar) Hinchman, he was born March 23, 1931 in El Paso, Texas.
He was a member of Hilltop Church of Christ and was a retired diesel mechanic.
He was preceded in death by his parents; his sisters, Constance, Helen, and Mildred; and his brothers, Jim, Bill, and Bud.
Survivors are his wife of 56 years, Mary "Trudy" (Deakins) Hinchman of the home; a brother, Robert Hinchman and his wife, Georgia of Medina, Texas; a daughter, Diana Lynn Henry and her husband, Keith of Lowell, Arkansas; a son, James Richard Hinchman and his wife, Glenda of Nashville, Tennessee; nine grandchildren and eleven great grandchildren.
Visitation was Sunday, February 1, 2009 at Coffman Funeral Home in Harrison. Funeral services were Monday, February 2, 2009 at the funeral home chapel. Burial followed in Hilltop Cemetery.
Pallbearers were Luke Hinchman, Nathan Henry, Micah Hinchman, Craig Deakins, Phil Deakins, Ronnie Paul, and Clell Deakins. Honorary pallbearers were Gerald Sims, Greg Lowery, Dr. Linn, Dr. Lee, Bob Good, Arvin Slape, Larry Acton, Arlis Conner, Tim Acton, Phil Acton, David Hinchman, Michael Roderequiz, and Randy Paul.
