Leroy Stackhouse, age 79, of Harrison, Arkansas, passed away on Saturday, September 9, 2023, at UAMS in Little Rock.

The son of Ray Stackhouse and Mertie (Jones) Stackhouse was born May 16, 1944, in Sacramento, California.  He lived in Harrison most of his life.

Leroy was an avid outdoorsman. He enjoyed fishing, camping, and floating when he was younger.  He loved to work in his yard, and he was very meticulous about his lawn. Leroy enjoyed his coffee and was a regular at all the local coffee shops.

He was preceded in death by his father, Ray Stackhouse; his mother, Mertie Owens; a half-brother, L.W. Owens; and a half-sister, Willadean Owens.

Leroy is survived by his daughter and son-in-law, Michelle and Rob Wells; two grandchildren, Brittany Brewer and Robbie Holcomb; and two step grandchildren, Taylor Wells and Alexis Wells.

At his request, no services will be held.
