Leona Sisco, of Western Grove, Arkansas, went to be with her Lord and Savior on Tuesday, June 13, 2017 at Hillcrest Nursing Home in Harrison at the age of 86.
The daughter of Charlie and Lula (Martin) Crow was born February 14, 1931 in the New Hope Township of Newton County, Arkansas.
Leona was a lifelong member of Western Grove Bible Church. She was a loving but firm mother who enjoyed spending time with her children, grandchildren and great grandchildren. She had a great sense of humor, always pulling tricks with her friends. She also enjoyed crocheting, cooking for her family and beautiful flowers.
She was preceded in death by her husband, L.V. Sisco, her parents; two grandchildren, Candy and Josh; two great grandchildren, Angelina and Colton; and her sister, Virginia Downes.
Leona is survived by her son, Dennis Sisco and wife June; her four daughters, Pauline Morris and husband Ricky, Barbara Pottorff and husband Daryld, Dyann Hancock and husband Donald and Charline Erwin and husband Rickey; 12 grandchildren, 30 great grandchildren and a host of other relatives and friends who loved her and will miss her dearly.
Services will be held at 10:00 AM, Saturday, June 17, 2017 at Coffman Funeral Home Chapel in Harrison with Pastor Dennis Sisco and Pastor Derwin Martin officiating. Burial will follow at Western Grove Cemetery.
Visitation will be held Friday, June 16, from 6-8 PM at Coffman Funeral Home.
Pallbearers are Scott Sisco, Jeremy Sisco, Donnie Hancock, Jamie Horn, Cody Wyatt and Tony Evans.
Honorary Pallbearers are Bonnie Boyd, Bonnie Cowan, Dr. Corey Jackson and staff and the Hillcrest Nursing Home staff.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Western Grove Bible Church.
