Obituary

Leon (Lee) Reddell was a man of great courage and honor, serving his country in the Armed Forces of the United States-Company C, 2nd Airborne Battle Group, 187th infantry.

Leon was a family man who believed in supporting his family.

He built and maintained Lee Drywall, his own business, which he owned and operated until he retired in 2000.

May we never forget the love and sacrifices of our esteemed father and grandfather Lee, who passed from this world on September 24th, 2019.
He was born to James Blaine Reddell and loving Mother Donna Pairlee Bolin-Reddell of Hasty Arkansas, on January 31, 1940.

He leaves behind his daughters, Debra Miriani and her husband Andrew Miriani of Overland Park, KS., Marcia Burns of Liberty, MO., Melissa Jackson and her husband Brian Jackson of Liberty, MO; Rebecca Reddell of Independence, MO.; son, Jason Reddell of Independence, MO., stepdaughter, Alana House of Independence, MO., thirteen grandchildren, nine great grandchildren, and his sister Lois Reddell Nichols of Oak Grove, MO.

Lee enjoyed country music, watching, movies, a good sci-fi book, fishing, scuba diving and bowling.

His children will always have fond memories of their dad in his blue jeans and white t-shirt, the way he laughed until tears rolled down his cheeks, his silly sense of humor, and his love of card games and puzzles.

He was respected and cherished by everyone who knew him.

Lee was a loving, caring, and self-sacrificing man; never turning away those who asked of him. His kind and generous compassion was the light of this soul that touched each and every one of us; for this, our dad will always be remembered. We love you Daddy.

Visitation will be held at Coffman Funeral Home in Harrison Arkansas, 501 Bellefonte Rd. on Saturday, October 5th, 2019, from 11AM-1PM with services immediately following at 1:00 PM.  Burial will follow at Carver Cemetery in Hasty, Arkansas, Newton County.
