Obituary

Leo Rogers, age 69 of Bergman, Arkansas passed away Friday, March 27, 2009 at Washington Regional Medical Center in Fayetteville, Arkansas.

The son of Will and Daisy (Akins) Rogers, he was born February 25, 1940 in Lead Hill, Arkansas.

He was an avid hunter and fisherman and also had worked for Duncan Industries.

His parents preceded him in death, along with his brothers, Frank Rogers, John Rogers, Tommy Rogers, Dude Rogers, and Floyd Rogers.

Survivors are his wife, Peggy (Earnhart) Rogers of the home; son, Todd Rogers and his wife, Sheila of Bergman; daughter, Tammy Watson and her husband, James of Bergman; sisters, Virginia Clarkston of Bella Vista and Avo Kelley of Lead Hill; grandchildren, Amber Cope, Leah Poor, Aleshia Wallace and her husband, Jay, and Eric Sims; and great- grandchildren, Colton Poor, Rebekah Poor, and Tuscany Wallace.

Visitation was Tuesday, March 31, 2009 at Coffman Funeral Home in Harrison. Service was Wednesday, April 1, 2009 at the funeral home chapel with Bro. Billy Rogers officiating. Burial followed in York Cemetery at Bergman with pallbearers being, David Honeycutt, David Rogers, Jerry Curtis, Ted Carter, Eric Sims, and Calvin Drewry. Honorary pallbearers were Gene Jones, Gerry Bryant, Dr. Kenneth Collins, Mary Rose, Gary Jackson, Fred Rogers, Roy Rogers, Teddy Hank Rogers, Darrell Cope, Harold Cope, Danny Davidson, Windell Curtis, Jerry Rogers, and Howard Rogers.
