Obituary
Leita Jones, age 82 of Western Grove, Arkansas passed away Thursday, September 4, 2014 at her home.
The daughter of Theodore and Geneva (Claire) Hurst was born September 19, 1931 in Gainesville, Texas.
Leita had lived in the area since 1984, moving here from Winslow, Arizona. She attended Yardelle Bible Church, loved to cook and go fishing.
Leita was preceded in death by her parents; one brother, John; and two sisters, Clara and Naomi.
She is survived by her husband of 63 years, Athel Jones of the home; one son, Wayne Jones and wife Kelly of Taylor, Arizona; their children, Dallas, Ryan, Jared, and Veronica; two brothers, Ted Hurst of Pennsylvania and Kenneth Hurst of Colorado; three sisters, Eileen Wallace of California, Juanita Thurlkill of El Dorado, Arkansas, and Judy Whisenant of Mississippi; and ten great-grandchildren.
Funeral service will be 1:00 P.M. Saturday, September 6, 2014 at Yardelle Chapel with Brother Derwin Martin officiating. Interment will be in Sand Hill cemetery.
Visitation will be one hour prior to the service at Yardelle Chapel.
Pallbearers will be Ron Lee, Kim Wheeler, Keith Wheeler, Jared Wheeler, Jared Jones, and Carl Wallin.
Honorary Pallbearers will be William Woods, Dallas Jones, Ryan Jones, and Carl Wells.
