Obituary
L.D. Yarbrough, age 77, of Harrison, AR., passed away Friday, October 16, 2009 at Washington Regional Medical Center, in Fayetteville, Arkansas.
The son of Bluford and Ella (Davenport) Yarbrough was born October 8, 1932 in Tomahawk, Arkansas.
Mr. Yarbrough is preceded in death by his parents; his sister, Louella Murray and his brother J.B. Yarbrough.
L.D. was a member of the Northside Church of Christ. He was an avid hunter and worked for Hudspeth Motors for over twenty five years.
L.D. Yarbrough is survived by his wife, Joyce (Young) Yarbrough of Harrison; his son and daughter-in-law, Greg and Letecia Yarbrough of Fayetteville, Arkansas; his granddaughter, Rachel Yarbrough and his grandson, Blaine Yarbrough; four nieces and six nephews; a special group of cousins; and other relatives and friends.
Funeral Service was Tuesday, October 20, 2009 at Coffman Funeral Home with Brother Ivie Powell officiating. Hugh McClain and Ken Reeves spoke in respect. Visitation was Monday, October 19, 2009 at Coffman Funeral Home. Burial followed in Maplewood Cemetery.
Pallbearers were Bill Peerce, Ken Reeves, Bob Yarbrough, Hugh McClain, Mike Holder, and Robert Murray. Honorary pallbearers were Dr. Mark Pippenger, Dr. Noel Ferguson, Dr. Carl Chambers, Nora Hefley, and Kent Nichols. Online condolences may be left at www.coffmanfh.com
