Larry Neal Wilkinson, age 71 of Harrison, passed away Friday, February 1, 2019 at Mount Vista Nursing Home in Harrison.
The son of Orbin Neal and Virgie Mae (McGrew) Wilkinson was born March 9, 1947 in Lead Hill, Arkansas.
He was preceded in death by his parents; sister, Mary Lou Wilcox; and grandson, Wesley Johnson.
Larry and Ann were married in January 1965 and had just celebrated their 54th anniversary. He and Ann purchased their farm at age 21, and he loved working his farm and enjoyed watching his cows every day. He also enjoyed his horses, mules, dogs, chickens, and coon hunting.
He managed Farmers Lumber Company, then worked at Meeks Lumber and Miller Hardware in Harrison for over 30 years. He also enjoyed spending time with his grandchildren and great grandchildren. Larry was saved in February 2016.
He is survived by his wife Cora Ann (Arnold) Wilkinson of Harrison; son Danny Lee Wilkinson (Starla) of Harrison; daughters, Pam Waters (Kirk) of Harrison and Angela Tucker (Douglas) of Ft. Scott, KS; brothers, David Wilkinson of OK, Danny Wilkinson and Ronnie Wilkinson both of Harrison; sister, Melissa Pettit of Harrison; grandchildren, Britany, Ashley, Justin, Zachary, Curtis, Jeremy, Jacob and Jaden; and 8 great grandchildren with one on the way and his special great grandchildren Colby and Caden.
Funeral service will be 10:00 A.M. Wednesday, February 6, 2019 at Coffman Funeral Home in Harrison with Lonnie Burks officiating. Burial will follow in York Cemetery in Bergman.
Visitation will be from 6:00 to 8:00PM Tuesday the funeral home.
Pallbearers will be Justin Wilkinson, Curtis Waters, Jeremy Wilkinson, Jacob Waters, Eddie Wilkinson, and Jared McGarrah.
Honorary pallbearers are Mount Vista Nursing Home, and 2 special nurses, Katrina Davis and Dee Clawson.
