Lamar Junior Lane, age 57 of Harrison, Arkansas passed away at his home Thursday, August 19, 2010.
He was born June 29, 1953 in Dardanelle, Arkansas the son of Opel and Juanita May (Jones) Lane.
Lamar worked as a trash hauler for years then became a bulldozer operator. He also had worked for Judy's Insulation until he had to discontinue work due to health problems.
He is survived by his wife, Joyce (Graham) Lane of the home; his parents of Everton; three brothers, Dana Lane of Everton, Samuel Lane and wife, Linda of Harrison, and Jimmy Lane and his wife, Linda of Yellville; three sisters, Bobby Riddell and her husband, Mike of Everton, Peggy Lane of Everton, and Barbera Crow and her husband, Mitch of Harrison; three sons, Richard Lane of Malvern, Timothy Lane of Osceola, Arkansas, and Tommy Lane of Yellville; two step-daughters, Kimberly Sablotne of Harrison and Mary Greenhaw and her husband, Phillip of Harrison; three grandsons, Nickles Lane, Jonathen Lane, and Joshua Lane all of Harrison; four step-grandchildren, Jacob Lane and his sister, Mary Neighbors, and Laken Greenhaw and her brother, and Khade all of Harrison.
Cremation and arrangements are being handled by Coffman Funeral Home in Harrison.
There was a memorial service Friday, August 20, 2010 at Coffman Funeral Home with Frank Drewery officiating.
Burial will follow at a later date in Maple Leaf Cemetery.
