Kimberly "Shorty" Dawn Sturdevant, age 22 of Jasper, Arkansas passed away Sunday, December 16, 2012 at UAMS in Little Rock, Arkansas.

The daughter of Della (Boling) Cox and Donald Sturdevant, Jr. was born November 16, 1990 in Sapulpa, Oklahoma.

She loved her kids and her nieces and nephews. She enjoyed camping and being with people.

She was preceded in death by her brother, Donald Sturdevant, III.

Survivors are her mother, Della Cox of Lurton, Arkansas; father, Donald Sturdevant, Jr. of Slick, Oklahoma; daughter, Makayla Marie Forrester (3 1/2) and son, Jacob Don Sturdevant (1 week) both of the home; brothers, Christopher Sturdevant, Johnathan Sturdevant, and Michael Sturdevant all of Slick, Oklahoma; sisters, Angela Sturdevant and Amanda Sturdevant both of Oklahoma, and Beverly Pate and husband, Jason of Alpena, Arkansas. maternal grandparents, Jay and Vera Johnson; paternal grandmother, Teddie Gellar; nieces, Ava Pate, Lily Stephenson, and Kaylee Stephenson; and nephews, Ashton Stephenson and Jayden Pate.

Cremation and arrangements are being handled by Coffman Funeral Home of Jasper with Bro. Freddie Blevins and Wes Cantwell officiating.

Memorial service 2 P.M. Wednesday, December 19, 2012 at Daniel's Park at Lurton, next to Tarlton Cemetery.

Honorary pallbearers are Michael Dotson, Joe Boling, Jimmie Boling, and Nelson Blythe.
