Obituary

Kevin Ray Rogers, 54 of Edinburg, TX, passed away Monday, May 8, 2017 in Lead Hill, Arkansas while visiting family.

The son of Tony and Sharon (Edmonson) Rogers was born June 8, 1962 in Harrison, Arkansas.

Kevin was a 1980 graduate of Lead Hill High School and played baseball for NACC. He loved hunting and sports, especially basketball and was an avid Arkansas Razorback fan.

He was the best husband and Papaw in the world, devoted to his wife, children and family. He was compassionate, fun-loving and selfless, always putting others needs before his own.  Kevin loved people and he was loved by many.

Kevin in his lifetime touched many lives with the Gospel of Christ, in youth pastoring, missions and founding, with his wife Lily, Waterfalls International Ministries.

He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Raymond and Naomi Edmonson and Bill and Coyeta Rogers.

Kevin is survived by his wife, Lily Rogers of Edinburg, TX; his parents, Tony and Sharon Rogers of Lead Hill, AR; his brother, Craig Rogers and wife Gena of Lead Hill, AR; five children, Arely Trejo and husband Ivan of Edinburg, TX; Tyler Rogers and Kayla Wilhelm of Lead Hill, AR; Carrissa Rogers and Evan Stalhaker of Jonesboro, AR; Kamri Rogers of Jonesboro, AR and Javier A. Rogers of Edinburg, TX; two granddaughters, Ivonne and Ivy Trejo of Edinburg, TX; his father and mother-in-law, Pablo S. and Elizabeth Sanchez of Edinburg, TX; and many nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, loved ones and friends.

Funeral services will be held at 10:00 AM, Thursday, May 11, 2017 at Peel Full Gospel Church with Pastor Dustin Burleson and Rev. Jimmy Villines officiating. Burial will follow at Milum Cemetery.

Visitation will be Wednesday from 4-8 PM at Coffman Funeral Home in Harrison.

Pallbearers are Todd Sage, McKinley Shatwell, Colby Williams, Joshua Sanchez, Ben Sanchez, and Luis Santiago.

Honorary pallbearers are Donnie "Duck" Rogers, Greg "Cotton" Rogers, Zac Rogers, Darrel Campbell and James Altenhofen.

In lieu of flowers, memorials can be made to Waterfalls International Ministries, 215 E. Stephenson, Harrison, AR, 72601.
