Jack Mason, age 83 of Harrison, Arkansas, passed away Monday, September 14, 2015 at the Hillcrest Home in Harrison.

The son of Coy and Elsie (Medley) Mason was born November 10, 1931 in Dongola, Arkansas.

He was preceded in death by his parents; his son, Paul Brasel, and his brother Kenneth Mason.

Jack was of Baptist faith. He enjoyed Bluegrass music, tinkering with old tractors and collecting fiddles. He also enjoyed telling stories and spending time with family and friends.

He is survived by his wife of fifty years, Ann (Stump) Mason of Harrison; his daughter, Becky Morse and husband Anthony of Harrison, his son George Mason and wife Rebecca of Gulf Port, Mississippi; and his sister, Mildred Richardson of Harrison.

Jack is also survived by his grandchildren, Pamela Duck of Harrison, Bradley Duck and wife Holly of Harrison, Matthew Duck and wife Jamey of Harrison, and Heather Steimeling and husband Joey of Mississippi; his great grandchildren, Gunner, Charlotte, Marianne, and Ainslee; and numerous family and friends.

Memorial service will be Tuesday, September 22, 2015 at Bear Creek Springs Baptist Church starting at 6:30 P.M. with James Smithson officiating.

Cremation arrangements are by Coffman Funeral Home.
