Obituary
Kenneth Lee "Hickory" Wells, age 87 of Valley Springs, Arkansas passed away Thursday, December 3, 2015 in Harrison, Arkansas.
The son of Charlie and Laura (Barger) Wells was born on April 18, 1928 in Rally Hill, Arkansas.
Kenneth was in the United States Army where he served in the Korean War. He was a member of the Valley Springs United Methodist Church. His grandchildren were the love of his life. He had the memory of an elephant, never met a stranger and loved to talk.
He was preceded in death by his parents; one sister, Edith Pate and a nephew, John Edd Pate.
He is survived by his wife, Stella (Yarbrough) Wells of the home; two daughters, Cay Fields and husband Tim of Harrison, GiGi Enix and husband Dave of Harrison; one son, Todd Wells and wife Shannon of Harrison; one brother, Hugh Wells of Valley Springs; 4 grandchildren, Ashley Tilley, Mack Enix, Jordan Wells and Brayden Wells and a host of other family and friends who will mourn his passing.
Services will be held Saturday, December 5, 2015 at 10:00 am at the Coffman Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will follow at Osborne Cemetery in St. Joe, Arkansas. Visitation will be Friday from 5:00 to 7:00 pm at the Chapel.
Pallbearers will include Mack Enix, Jordan Wells, Brayden Wells, Dave Enix, Tim Fields, Al Tilley and Jacob Storlie.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to the Hospice House, 501 E. Sherman, Harrison, Arkansas, 72601.
