Obituary
Kenneth Clyde Henley, age 88 of Harrison, Arkansas passed away October 15, 2018 at Cox Medical Center in Branson, Missouri.
The son of Benjamin Floyd and Ruth Caroline (Russell) Henley was born on January 29, 1930 at St. Joe, Arkansas. He grew up in Searcy County and then spent several years in California before returning to Arkansas 25 years ago.
Kenneth was a member of the Church of Christ at Ridgeway. He loved fishing, hunting, gardening and most importantly being a Christian. He was also a very, very hard worker.
He was preceded in death by his parents; 4 sisters, Opal Arthur, Marie Coker, Alva Hensley and Madge Fowler; 3 brothers, Floyd Henley Jr., John Henley and Jim Henley.
Kenneth is survived by his wife, Tommye Jean Henley; a son, Kenneth Donavan Henley; 2 daughters, Gretta Annette Davis and husband Mike and Lisa Marie Day and husband Jason; 2 brothers, Charles Henley and wife Jackie and Orville Henley and wife Glenda; a sister, Peggy Swafford; 5 grandchildren, 7 great-grandchildren and many other family and friends who will mourn his passing.
Graveside services will be held at Osborne Cemetery in St. Joe on Monday October 22, 2018 at 11:00 am with Bill Arnold officiating. Pallbearers will include Tyler Fausett, Jason Day, Stan Yancey, Denton Yancey, Bill Richardson and Ricky Minchew.
Family and friends are welcome for a meal after services at the Henley's home.
