Katrina Jae Seagraves, age 29 of Jasper, AR passed away Thursday, July 13, 2006 at her home. She was born November 7, 1976 at Mansfield, AR the daughter of Larry Michael and Dorothy (Hager) Wood.

Katrina was a loving mother and worked for the University of Arkansas Medical Sciences Center as a Social Worker, helping families. She also had volunteered for CASA, advocating for abused and neglected children. She had been a resident of Newton County since 1993, moving from Booneville, AR.

Survivors are her husband, Charles Seagraves of the home; mother and step-father, Dottie Corbitt and George Buhlinger of Jasper; father, Larry Wood of Booneville; children, Leah Seagraves and Saige Wood of Jasper; sisters, Amanda Leroux of Huntington, AR, Victoria Keith of Mulberry, AR, and Rebecca Matlock of Jasper; step-siblings, Jeffery Corbitt, Melanie Corbitt, and Cheryl Smith all of Magazine, AR; and maternal grandfather, Lloyd hager of Ft. Collins, CO. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, cousins and other relatives and friends.

Service for Katrina was Tuesday, July 18 at Jasper Methodist Church with Pastor Larry Acton officiating. Burial followed in Jasper Cemetery. Pallbearers are Jayson Flud, Jarrett Matlock, Jeff Corbitt, Calvin White, Lawrence Haight, Jackie Webb, W.C. Seagraves, and Daniel Seagraves. Honorary pallbearers are Yaqui Griffin, Justin Matlock, and George Buhlinger. Visitation was at Coffman Funeral Home in Jasper, AR.
