Obituary
Kathy D. Thomas, age 46 of Jasper, Arkansas passed away Wednesday, August 12, 2009 at her home.
She was born July 1, 1963 in Harrison, the daughter of Jimmy and Emma Faye (Hensley) Keys. Kathy was a housewife, mother and office assistant for Newton County Special Services. She was a member of the Jasper First Assembly of God Church and a lifetime resident of Newton County.
Her father preceded her in death.
Survivors are her husband, Kevin Thomas of Jasper; her mother, Emma Faye Keys of Jasper; four sons, Colin Thomas, Karl Thomas, and James Thomas all of Jasper, and John Thomas of Opello, AR; one brother and sister-in-law, Jimmy and Daphna Keys of Jasper; a sister and brother-in-law, Diana and Ed Nelson of Jasper and numerous nieces, nephews, and other relatives and friends.
Funeral services were Saturday, August 15, 2009 at the
Jasper First Assembly of God Church with Bro. Troy Walker officiating. Burial followed in the Jasper Cemetery under the direction of Coffman Funeral Home of Jasper. Visitation was Friday, August 14, 2009 at Coffman Funeral Home in Jasper.
Pallbearers were Steve Coleman, Jerry Watts, Keith Slape, Kevin LaFollette, Kenny Seay, and Jody Pendarvis. Honorary pallbearers were the Staff and Clients of Newton County Special Services.
In lieu of flowers, the family request that donations and memorials be made to Newton County Special Services, PO Box 528, Jasper, AR 72641.
