Obituary
Katherine Lee Hayford, age 67 of Harrison, Arkansas passed away Monday, June 27, 2016 at her home.
The daughter of Anderson Benjamin and Earle Lucille (Smith) Alexander was born on January 23, 1949 in Rippen, Wisconsin.
Katherine was a teacher and had moved to the Newton County/Boone County area fifteen years ago from Jacksonville, Arkansas. She enjoyed going to the Newton County Senior Center and the Boone County Senior Center. She also enjoyed gardening and spending time with her grandchildren.
Her parents and one brother, David Alexander preceded her in death.
Survivors are her children, Raymond Hayford and wife Susan of Clinton, Arkansas and Rebekah Harrison and husband Jody of Jasper, Arkansas; one brother, Robert Alexander and wife Sheila of Ohio; one sister, Ann Stagner of Jacksonville, Arkansas; five grandchildren, Kara Snider, Kelcie Snider, Dustin Snider, Dylan Hayford and Jesse Harrison; five great grandchildren and numerous nieces, nephews and other family and friends who mourn her passing.
A memorial service will be held at 2 P.M. Friday, July 1, 2016 at Coffman Funeral Home Chapel in Jasper with Brother James Compton officiating.
Honorary pallbearers will be Dustin Snider, Dylan Hayford, Jesse Harrison, Michael Stagner and James Stagner.
Cremation arrangements by Coffman Funeral Home of Jasper.
