Karen Rachael Jennings, of Harrison, passed away at her home on Thursday, December 29, 2022. She was 57 years old.

She was born on June 8, 1965 in Ft. Lee, Virginia to Donald and Helen (Meren) Portell.

Karen enjoyed spending time with her family and friends but especially enjoyed the time spent with her grandchildren. She enjoyed shopping and loved her girls' weekends. Karen was a faithful member at Woodland Baptist Church.

Survivors include her husband of 38 years, William H. Jennings; two sons and their wives, Josh and Brittney Jennings and Zach and Madysen Jennings; two grandchildren, Kinsley and Konner Jennings; her parents, Donald and Helen Portell; one sister, Lynn Wickersham and her husband, Sam; two brothers and their wives, Bruce and Mary Portell and Roger and Anne Portell; one sister-in-law, Susan Jennings; nieces and nephews, Matthew Portell, Amanda Triplett, Jennifer Portell, Kimberly Devine, and Jessica Wickersham; and a host of friends and church family.

Visitation will be Wednesday, January 4, 2023 at Coffman Funeral Home of Harrison from 5:00 to 8:00 PM

A Celebration of Life is Thursday, January 5, 2023 at 10:00 AM at Woodland Baptist Church. Pastor Heath Kirkpatrick will officiate. Burial will be at Crossroads Cemetery. Pallbearers are Roy Martin, Eugene Powers, James Jenkins, Andrew Patrick, Doug Madle, and Tony Madle.
