Karen Jean (McGraw) Carrow of Harrison, Arkansas passed away at home, Tuesday, August 23, 2016 at the age of 56.
The daughter of Verble and Doris (Moore) McGraw was born June 11, 1960 at St. Louis, Missouri.
Karen was a resident of this area for over 30 years, moving here from California. She enjoyed hiking, boating, camping and riding motorcycles. She took great pride in training and working as an EMT for Boone and Newton counties. She loved animals, particularly her dogs, and will be remembered by her family as a loving person. Always known as Aunt K or just Kay, she mothered everyone in her family, and outside of it, especially after the passing of her mother in April of 2002.
She was preceded in death by her parents, 2 sisters, Becky Engleman and Lori Lee McGraw, and father of her child, Jeff McCormack.
Karen is survived by her daughter, Mandy McCormack of Memphis, TN; two brothers, Alex McGraw and wife Sheena, Andy McGraw and wife Toni all of Harrison; her granddaughter, Grace Ann Skains; two aunts, Miriam Moore of Harrison and Josephine Murphy of Patterson, MO; her nieces and nephews, Jason McGraw and wife Brandy and their children, Zac and Kaitlyn; Anneke` Engelman and wife Michelle Case, Charles McGraw, Rhianna Cardiel and husband Mike and their son Brayden; Brian McGraw, Sarah Tilley and husband Randy and their daughter Sophia; Ashley McGraw, Samantha Davis and husband Miles and their children, Alyssa and Zoe; and Shaleena White.
She is also survived by every person that she ever took to her heart and made them into family.
Memorial services will be held Saturday, August 27, 2016 at 10:00 AM at First Baptist Church in Harrison with Rev. Bob Johnson officiating. Private family burial will follow at Maplewood Cemetery.
