Obituary
June Leona Green, age 79 of Jasper, Arkansas passed away Sunday, March 15, 2009 at North Arkansas Regional Medical Center in Harrison, Arkansas.
She was born May 4, 1929 at Buffalo, New York, the daughter of Herman Frank and Olive Betsy (Corbett) Schneider.
June had worked as a nurse for St. John's Hospital in Tulsa, Oklahoma and had moved to Newton County in 2001. She was also current president of the Jasper Pioneers Extension Homemakers Club.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Carmon Green and infant twin sisters.
Survivors are one son and daughter-in-law, Herman "Monty" Green and Kristine of Woodlawn, TN; one daughter and son-in-law, Terry Traywick and Dusty of Jasper, AR; one sister, Carolyn Bleier of the Newton County Nursing Home in Jasper; eight grandsons, one granddaughter and one great grandson.
Memorial services are at 10:00 AM, Friday, March 20, 2009 at Mt. Sherman Assembly of God Church with Steven Holt officiating.
Cremation arrangements are by Coffman Funeral Home of Jasper.
