Julie Ann Sims, age 51 of Pindall, Arkansas passed away Wednesday, February 24, 2016 at Glenco Valley in Searcy County, Arkansas.
The daughter of Claud and Retha (Henson) Lewis was born March 1, 1964 at Harrison, Arkansas.
Julie was a lifetime resident of Carroll and Searcy County and attended Western Grove Bible Church. She enjoyed spending time with her grandson and nephews. She loved being outdoors and going to church.
She was preceded in death by her father, her husband, Melvin Sims, 1 brother, Kenneth "Mouse" Lewis, 4 brothers-in-law, Marvin and Milton Sims, Dean McAfee and Devon Brown, a sister-in-law, Sharon Lewis and a great niece Kayden McAfee.
Julie is survived by her mother, Retha Lewis of Hillcrest Home; her son, Joshua McCutcheon of Ozark, MO; her daughter, Cassie Walker (Adam Fisher) of Alpena, AR; her brothers and sisters, her twin, Judy McCutcheon (Randy) of Richland, AR; Rita McAfee (David) of Pindall, AR; Brenda Oliver (Jerry) of Alpena, AR; Sharon Brown of St. Joe, AR; Ray Lewis (Sue) of Harmon, AR; Dale Lewis (Betty), Earl Lewis (Lena), Chester Lewis (Dana), David Lewis (Nina Mae) all of St. Joe, AR; Ernest Lewis of Bergman, 1 grandson, Landen Walker and Baby Fisher, who is due in April; and a host of family and friends who will miss her dearly.
Services will be Saturday, February 27, 2016 at 10:00 A.M. at Coffman Chapel in Harrison with Pastor Dennis Sisco officiating. Burial will follow at Alpena Cemetery in Alpena, Arkansas.
Pallbearers are Shannon, Brandon and Eldon McAfee, Steven and Erik Lewis, Clint Morris, Eric Sims and Steven Baker.
Honorary Pallbearers are Landen Walker, Remington, Dominic, Tony, Riley, Levi and Jacob McAfee and her Western Grove Bible Church Family.
Visitation will be Friday from 6-8PM at the funeral home.
