Julia R. Hill, age 70 of Western Grove, Arkansas passed away Sunday, January 5, 2014.
The daughter of Clifford L. and Margie (Henderson) Rainey was born January 2, 1944 in High Point, North Carolina.
Julia was a cook for Horry County Tech College in Myrtle Beach, South Carolina and was a truck driver. She enjoyed helping and giving to others, loving and caring for her family, and also enjoyed traveling. She and her husband, William Hill were married on July 30, 1982.
She was of the Pentecostal faith and attended Mt. Judea Church.
She was preceded in death by her parents and a step-daughter, Gale Smith.
Survivors are her husband, William Hill of the home; sons, Ralph R. Heavner, Jr. of Memphis, Tennessee and James C. Heavner of Russellville; step-son, Wesley E. Hill of Malvern; step-daughters Norma Gmawski of Russellville and Tonya Hill of Winter Park, Florida; and a brother, Roger Rainey of Rock Hill, South Carolina.
Visitation was Tuesday, January 7, 2014 at Coffman Funeral Home in Harrison.
Service was Wednesday, January 8, 2014 at Mt. Judea Church with Anthony Bowers and Wesley Ricketts officiating.
Burial followed in Carver Cemetery with pallbearers being Kenny Coonts, Tony McKinley, Scott Robertson, David Dunlap, Jackie Ricketts, and Michael McKinley.
