Judy and Dan lived in Virginia while Dan was in the Navy. They returned to Cedar Rapids in 1973, just three days after welcoming their only child, Tammy.
Judy worked as a waitress at Pine Inn, and her other jobs included Collins Radio, Owen Mills, Jefferson Davis, and World Data in Cedar Rapids before deciding to move to Piercetown, Arkansas in 2009.
Judy was a lifelong fan of Elvis Presley. She and Dan also enjoyed camping and boating. Judy loved flowers, singing, and attending church. She especially loved spending time with her family.
