Obituary
Juanita "June" Jock, age 74 of Jasper, passed away Sat. September 27, 2008 at Hospice of the Hills Hospice House in Harrison.
The daughter of James and Edith (Skaggs) Young, she was born September 22, 1934 at Jasper, Arkansas.
After being reared here, she lived in Kansas City and worked as a supervisor for Bethany Hospital in Kansas City, KS. After returning to Jasper about 18 years ago, she worked for Newton Co. Special Services Day Care.
She was married to Elmer Jock in October 1971 and was preceded in death by him in Nov. 1999. Also preceding her were her parents;
a step-sister, Catherine Veale and a step-brother, Kenneth Jones.
Survivors are step-brothers, Guy, Jr. and Ron Jones and a step-sister, Shirley Thomas all of Missouri; and many cousins, other family and friends.
Visitation was Sunday, September 28, 2008 with services Monday, September 29, 2008, both at Coffman Funeral Home in Jasper. Burial followed in Jasper Cemetery with Rev. Raymond White officiating.
Pallbearers were Earl Braswell, Milford Parsons, Jerry Peeler, Tommy Harding, Bob Reno, and Dwayne Collins.
Memorials may be made to the Jasper Cemetery.
