Retha Juanima (Frederick) Dunlap, age 69 of Lead Hill, AR, lost her 3 and 1/2 year battle with lung cancer, Sunday, October 28, 2007 at North Arkansas Regional Medical Center in Harrison.
The daughter of Autus Theodore and Beulah Maybelle (Sutton) Frederick, was born October 21, 1938 at Harrison. She was a 1956 graduate of Harrison High School. She married Garvin Royal Dunlap on June 27, 1956.
Juanima was a retired wood crafter who enjoyed knitting, painting, geneology, and traveling.
Her parents preceded her in death, along with her brother, Autus Lee Frederick.
Survivors are her husband of 51 years, Garvin Dunlap, of the home; daughter, Brenda Nutter and her husband, Larry, of Lead Hill; sons David Dunlap and his wife, D'Lorah, of Hasty and Jesse Kevin Dunlap and his wife, Angie, of Harrison; six grandchildren, Megan Nutter, of Lead Hill, KaLee Dunlap, Shelby Dunlap, Drew Dunlap, and Luke Dunlap, all of Hasty, and Jesse Dunlap, of Harrison. She is also survived by two sisters and a brother.
Cremation and arrangements are being handled by Coffman Funeral Home in Harrison.
Visitation with the family and friends was Tuesday, October 30, 2007 at Coffman Funeral Home with a memorial service for her being held at a later date.
