Joyce Jackson, of Harrison, passed away at her home on Tuesday, April 27, 2021. She was 90 years old.

The daughter of William A. and Eula Edna (Lusk) Morrison was born on August 21, 1930 in Throckmorton, Texas.

Joyce married Jim B. Jackson on October 26, 1946. They enjoyed 55 years of marriage before his death in November 2001. Joyce worked for over 30 years in banking with several of those years at the old First National Bank in Harrison. She was a longtime member of the Bellefonte Church of Christ.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Jim B. Jackson; her parents; five brothers, including infant twin brothers, O'Dell and O'Thell, Denzil, Norman and Raymond Morrison; and three sisters, Arlene Still, Wilma Herrington, and Amy Riley.

Survivors include one daughter and her husband, Joyce and Carl Mears; and two grandsons, Bob and Jim Mears; and many nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be Thursday, April 29, 2021 at Coffman Funeral Home in Harrison from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m.

Graveside service is Friday, April 30, 2021 at Osborne Cemetery in St. Joe at 10:00 a.m. Ray Crawford and Bud Gregory will officiate. Pallbearers are Carl Mears, Bob Mears, Jim Mears, Bud Gregory, Woody Methvin, and Bobby Evans.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Paragould Children's Home, 515 Walcott Road, Paragould, Arkansas 72450.
