Obituary

Joshua Armer, age 32, of Harrison, Arkansas, passed peacefully into the arms of Jesus on Friday, September 25, 2020 at Arkansas Children's Hospital in Little Rock.

The son of Johnny Armer and Shirley (Martin) Paul was born in Harrison on October 7, 1987.  He was a graduate of Harrison High School.  He was also a member of Hill Top Church of Christ, Hill Top Volunteer Fire Department and the Harrison Moose Lodge.

Josh loved Karaoke, playing drums and hanging out with his family and friends; he also loved animals.  He was a huge wrestling fan and also enjoyed fishing and being a rodeo clown.  In 2005, the Make-A-Wish Foundation fulfilled his wish to be a rodeo clown in Fort Smith with the world famous rodeo clown, Rudy Burns.  He was full of life, laughter and joy.  He was a very strong person, who never met a stranger and loved his family and friends fiercely.  Josh loved everyone, and he leaves behind a legacy of family and friends whose hearts he touched, and whose lives are forever changed for knowing him.

He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Garland and Freda Martin and Frank and Ruby Armer.

Josh is survived by his parents, Johnny and Theresa Armer and Shirley Paul (Terry Coffman); his brothers, Scott McNair and wife, Crystal and Russell Davis and wife Alisha; his sisters, Tamara Armer (Keifer Burnett), Stormie McGarrah and husband Chris and Chealsie Hunt and husband Anthony; and a host of nieces, nephews, extended relatives and many friends who loved him and will miss him.
