Jolly Bowden Jones, of Jasper, passed away on Tuesday, April 25, 2023 at his home.  He was 93 years old.

The son of Frederick and Camma (Gibson) Jones was born on November 19, 1929 in Jasper, Arkansas.

Jolly enjoyed hunting, knifemaking, and writing poetry.  He was a friend to many and will be dearly missed.

He was preceded in death by his parents; and three brothers, Walton Jones, Blake Jones, and Jerry Jones.

Survivors include one son, Jolly Michael Allen Jones and his wife, Martha Elizabeth Jones; one daughter, Zandra Jean Peters and her husband, Gregory Alan Peters; numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren; and a host of nieces and nephews.

A private family service was held at Jasper Cemetery.
