Jolene Edwards, age 75, of Bergman, Arkansas, was welcomed into the loving arms of her Lord and Savior on Monday, July 21, 2025.
She was born in St. Joseph, Kansas on May 7, 1950. Moving from Visalia, California, she made Boone County, Arkansas her home in 1976. She met and married the love of her life, Jerry Edwards on March 13, 1981. She was a devoted member of Life Abundant Church and attended faithfully until her health no longer permitted.
Jolene enjoyed sewing, knitting, crocheting, reading her Bible and spending time with her family.
"JoJo", as she was known to most, was an angel on earth. She was a strong, resilient, beautiful soul that met many adversities in her life with a smile and an unwavering faith in her Lord. She was a prayer warrior for many, especially her family. JoJo had a huge heart with kindness and unconditional love for everyone. Her family and loved ones have many beautiful memories of her to treasure for a lifetime and share with generations.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Ray and Willene Honeycutt; her husband, Jerry Edwards, daughter, Vonna Edwards; stepson, Jerry Lee Edwards; father and mother-in-law, Elwin and Pearl Edwards; and brothers and sisters-in-law, Calvin Dees, Jackie Edwards, Dr. Joe and Ann Edwards, and Ronnie Rose.
JoJo is survived by her daughters, Glynna Allen and husband Ken, Jade Conner and husband Colton, and Karsen Edwards; brothers, Clifford Honeycutt and wife Rhonda Renee, Donnie Honeycutt and wife Rhonda, and Ronnie Honeycutt and wife Leanna; sisters, Darlene Young and husband Willie, Delores Trammell and husband Larry, and Charlotte Dees; two grandchildren, Danielle Allen Freeman and husband Chris and Luke Allen and wife Katie; three great grandchildren, Caden Miller, Remington Allen, and Ellison Allen; brothers and sisters-in-law, Jimmy (Mary) Edwards, Judy (Clay) Griffin, Jana (Rex) Kindall, and Joyce Rose; and a host of nieces, nephews, extended relatives and many dear friends.
A visitation will be held on Friday, July 25, 2025, from 4 PM to 6 PM at Coffman Funeral Home in Harrison. The family will have a graveside memorial service at 11 AM, on Saturday, July 26 at White Oak Cemetery in Bergman, all are welcome to attend. Pastor Charles Edwards will officiate.
Honorary pallbearers are Dr. Tom Langston, Dr. Brent Rosson, Nurses and Staff of Countryside Nursing and Rehab of Jasper, and Legacy Hospice.
