Johnnie Lee Spence, 77 of Harrison, Arkansas passed away Monday, July 29, 2019 at home.
The son of Homer Wyley and Helen Marie (Beck) Spence was born at Colcord, Oklahoma on February 8, 1942.
Johnnie had been a poultry farmer and had worked at Asplundh Tree Service. He was a resident of Boone County most of his life.
He loved hunting, especially coon hunting, fishing, and gardening. He loved the Lord and was a passionate evangelist, telling people about Jesus every chance he had. He loved his family and will be missed by all who knew him.
He was preceded in death by his parents, a daughter, Deanna Dean, a son, Clifford Spence and a brother, Thomas Spence.
Johnnie is survived by his children and their spouses, Irl and Tammy Spence of Everton, Rebecca and Bill Davis of Yellville and Cynthia and Tim Williams of Harrison; a step-daughter, Gaila Fioretti and husband Pat of Harrison; a brother, Fred Spence of Colcord, OK; a sister-in-law, Wilma Spence of Yellville; 11 grandchildren, John Paul Spence, Aaron Dean, Brandi Williams, Samantha Rogers, Valerie Trammell, Austin Spence, B.J. Davis, Bo Davis, Cody Spence, Brandon Williams and Ginger Frisby; 2 step-grandchildren, Lisa Martin and Ashley Martin; 30 great grand children and a host of extended relatives and many friends.
Funeral services will be at 11:00 AM, Thursday, August 1, 2019 at Coffman Funeral Home Chapel with Doyle Burnett officiating. Burial will follow at George's Creek Cemetery near Yellville.
Visitation will be from 10-11AM Thursday prior to the service at the funeral home.
Pallbearers are Cody Spence, Austin Spence, John Paul Spence, Mike Frisby, Donny Spence and Aaron Dean.
Honorary pallbearers are Doyle Burnett, Melvin Dye, Roy Roberts, Danny Spence and Coma Rivers.
