Obituary

John D. "Johnny" Youngblood, 71 of Marble Falls, Arkansas passed away Friday, July 8, 2016 at home.

The son of John Riley and Mattie Agnes (Farmer)Youngblood was born April 14, 1945 at Parthenon, Arkansas.

He was a lifelong resident of this area and worked for over 30 years in lawn and cemetery care. John took a great deal of pride in his work and always went above and beyond in his job. He was very proud of his family and adored his grandchildren and great grandchildren. He was very set in his ways and stood up for what he believed in. He was always ready to offer help to anyone in need.

He was preceded in death by his parents, 2 sisters, Ann Farmer and Shirley Ceverelli and his step-father, Lasker Wright.

John is survived by his wife, Reta Youngblood of the home; 2 sons, David Youngblood and wife Kathryn of Harrison, Billy Youngblood and wife Tina of Omaha; a daughter, Anna Foulk and husband Dean of Lowell; a brother, Ulys Youngblood of Harrison; 2 sisters, Della Ware and husband Jim of Kingston and Norma Smothers and husband Eddie of Harrison; 8 grandchildren, Sophia, Joshua, Tommy, Kaitlyn, Gavin, Ethan, Isaac and Jordon; 4 great grandchildren, Bella, Oliver, Orion and Heaven; 2 special nieces, Teresa Smith and Melissa Rhoades; and many other nieces, nephews, relatives and friends who will mourn his passing.

Services are Tuesday, July 12, 2016 at 10:00am at Coffman Chapel in Harrison, with Rev. Edward Franks officiating, burial will follow at White Church Cemetery.

Pallbearers are Doug Ware, Freddy Youngblood, Rex Isbell, George Whitney, Josh LeBlanc and Tommy Crews.

Honorary Pallbearers are his grandchildren, Jordon, Isaac, Gavin, Ethan, Kaitlynn, Sophia, his great grandchildren, Bella, Oliver, Orion, Heaven, Buddy Trotter, the Staff of Hospice of the Hills and the Staff of Creekside Nursing & Rehab.

Visitation will be Monday, July 11 from 6-8pm at the funeral home.
