Obituary
John Yakushik, age 82 of Harrison, AR passed away Friday, March 16, 2007 at North Arkansas Regional Medical Center in Harrison.
The son of Steve and Oksenia (Marchuk) Yakushik, was born September 7, 1924 in Chicago, IL.
His parents preceded him in death, along with his brother, Nick Yakushik.
John was a WWII veteran in the U.S. Navy, serving on the USS Mississippi from 1943 to 1946.
He was a retired furniture salesman.
Visitation was Tuesday, 5-7 PM with service on Wed. March 20th, 10:00 AM at Coffman Funeral Home in Harrison. Committal service was held at the VA National Cemetery at Fayetteville.
Survivors are his daughter and son-in-law, Lara and James "Jim" Murch and granddaughter, Arianna Yakushik, all of Tuscon, AZ.
In lieu of flowers the family requests donations be made to Union Road Assembly of God Church, 433 Union Road, Harrison, AR. 72601.
