John Roy Hensley, 80, of Tennessee, passed away Thursday, October 27, 2022.

The son of Clarence and Mildred (Moore) Hensley was born in Harrison, Arkansas on January 3, 1942.

He and his wife moved to Yakima, Washington shortly after they married and lived there until 2006 when they moved to Tennessee.  John enjoyed hunting, fishing, and playing guitar.

He was preceded in death by his parents, his wife, Lois Hensley in 2020, two sisters, Shirley and Lucy, and a brother-in-law, Kenneth Nichols.

John is survived by his sons, Danny Hensley and wife Tracy, and John David Hensley; a daughter, Becky Hensley; 5 grandchildren, 3 great grandchildren, his brothers and sisters-in-law, Dennis Nichols, Kerry Nichols, Terry Nichols, Luanna Bibb, and Rebecca Hampton; and a host of nieces, nephews, and cousins.

Graveside service will be at 10 AM, Monday, October 31, 2022 at Gass Cemetery under the direction of Coffman Funeral Home of Harrison.
