John Adam Gerling, age 97 of Harrison, Arkansas, passed away Saturday, April 7, 2018 in Harrison.
The son of Peter and Vronica (Stramel) Gerling was born December 16, 1920 in Topeka, Kansas.
He was preceded in death by his wife Evelyn, his parents, his step-son, Paul Groth, and 12 siblings.
John is survived by his son, James Gerling and wife Pauline; step-daughter-in-law, Toddie Groth; a sister, Rose; 5 grandchildren; 7 great grandchildren; 3 great-great grandchildren, many nieces, nephews and friends who will miss him.
No services will be held. Arrangements and cremation under the direction of Coffman Funeral Home of Harrison.
