Obituary
John Mark Crabtree, age 48 of Jasper, Arkansas died October 2, 2013 in Jasper.
The son of Billy Gene Crabtree and Mary Ann (Traeger) Crabtree was born on December 20, 1964 in Harrison, Arkansas.
He had been a driver for Tanner Lumber Company for several years and he was a carpenter. He helped build Riverbend Apartments, Buffalo River Villas and Grandview Apartments in Jasper. He also loved working as a mechanic. John loved spending time with his children at "The Point" at Red Rock above Vendor and he loved the outdoors. He was very devoted to his children, grandchildren and his mother.
John was preceded in death by his father and an infant brother.
Survivors are his mother, Mary Crabtree of Jasper; two sons, Christopher Crabtree of Harrison and Justin Crabtree of Jasper; one daughter, Amber Crabtree of Jasper;
two brothers, Billy Joe Crabtree of Tulsa, OK and Michael Crabtree of Springfield, MO; three sisters, Marilyn Hensley of Natural Dam, AR, Laura Smith of Cecil, AR and Karen Messer of Snyder, TX; a nephew who looked to John as a father figure, Matthew Messer of Corpus Christi, TX; six grandchildren, Christopher Rey Crabtree, Vonia Rain Crabtree, Dameon Everett Willms, Aquamarie Anette Willms, Mesha Leona Willms and Mikamoon Rachelle Willms and two step-grandchildren, Sheanna and Chance.
A memorial service was Saturday, Ocotber 5, 2013 at Coffman Funeral Home Chapel in Jasper.
