John Dean Collins, Sr., of Bergman, Arkansas, passed away Friday, April 28, 2017 at Cox Medical Center in Branson, Missouri at the age of 54.

The son of James "Jim" Collins and Mary (Bailey) Fode was born in Harrison, Arkansas on November 2, 1962.

He was a lifelong resident of this area and a member of First Lutheran Church. He worked at Pace for 27 years and loved old trucks. He also enjoyed fishing and looking for arrowheads.

John was a loving husband, son, and father and cherished his grandchildren. He was a faithful friend and loved his dog Warlock.

He was preceded in death by his father, James "Jim" Collins, and his grandparents, Graydon and Lois E. Collins and John and Lenna Bailey.

John is survived by his wife of 33 years, Teresa Collins of the home; his mother, Mary Fode; two sons, Michael Collins and wife, Cassie and John Collins Jr. and wife Michele, all of Bergman; 4 grandchildren, Peyton Collins, Akaysha Collins, Zyden Collins and Patrisha Collins and 1 grandchild due in July and a host aunts, uncles, and cousins.

Services will be held at 10:00 AM Tuesday, May 2, 2017 at the First Lutheran Church in Harrison with Pastor Michael Warner officiating. Burial will follow at York Cemetery in Bergman.

Visitation will be Monday from 5-7 PM at Coffman Funeral Home in Harrison.

Pallbearers are Eddie Murphy, Daniel Bailey, Rickey Smith, Kevin Newport, Richard Collins and Aaron Jones.

Honorary Pallbearers are Curt Collins, Michael Collins, John Collins, Jr., Peyton Collins and Justin Woolwine.
