John Madison Brothers, age 63, of Harrison, Arkansas went to his heavenly home on Thursday, March 11, 2021. He was born in Harrison, Arkansas on March 29, 1957. John's heavenly reunion included his parents, Lewis H. and Betty (McGinnis) Brothers; and his brother, Robert Brothers.
John graduated from Harrison High School and later worked in the cable industry for TCA and Cox Communications. In his free time, he enjoyed golf, fishing, camping, and hiking; especially with his sons, Reid and Logan. He loved to socialize with friends and family and was known for bringing fun and laughter to most occasions. JB Moon could definitely light up a room! John had a large collection of books and was an avid reader. He had grown strong in his faith and enjoyed studying the bible and worshipping with Woodland Heights Baptist Church and Graceway Church online.
Survivors include his former spouse, Trish Brothers; son, Reid Brothers; son and daughter-in-law, Logan and Jasmine Brothers; and grandchildren, River and Blakely Brothers; brother and sister-in-law, Mike and Patsy Brothers; sisters-in-law, Suzanne Brothers and Michelle Arnold; brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law, Paul and Debbie Parker, Richie and Beverly Arnold, Philip and Aimee Lakey; brother-in-law, Jerry Arnold; five nephews; eight nieces; and a host of great nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be from 3:00 to 4:00 PM followed by a memorial service at 4:00 PM both on Tuesday, March 16, 2021 at Woodland Heights Baptist Church, 1001 Gipson Road, in Harrison. Brother Heath Kirkpatrick will officiate. Honorary pallbearers include Dustin Arnold, Grant Parker, Derek Arnold, John Michael Brothers, Mason Brothers, Greg Wilson, Jordan Fila, and O.J. Phillips.
The family would like to thank Dr. Thaddeus Beck, Highland Oncology, the staff at WRMC, and Willard Walker Hospice House for the excellent care given to John during his battle with cancer.
Memorial contributions may be made to Woodland Heights Baptist Church.
John's family asks that you spend time with friends and family, take time to enjoy nature, and stay strong in your faith in the Lord.
