John Robert Brady, age 75 of Harrison, Arkansas formerly of New Lenox, Illinois passed away Monday, March 4, 2013 at his home.

The son of Grover and Rose (Nelson) Brady was born September 18, 1937 in Ottawa, Illinois.

He served in the US Navy aboard the USS Robert L. Wilson and was a graduate of Milwaukee School of Engineering. He worked for Argone National Lab in Lamont, IL, Eco Lab in Joliet, IL, Carrier Air-Conditioning in Chicago, IL, Kimberly Clark Corporation in Memphis, TN, and Tyson's in Green Forest, AR.

John enjoyed being outdoors, riding his horse and the company of his dogs.

He was a faithful member of Trinity Evangelical Lutheran Church in Harrison.

He was preceded in death by his parents; and brother, Charles Brady.

Survivors are his wife of 52 years, Nola Brady of the home; daughters, Julie Sawyer and husband Tom of Elwood, Illinois and Karen Sperduto and partner Tim Gross of Harrison; son, Bill Brady and partner Becky Blount of Centerton, Arkansas; grandchildren, Nola Sawyer, Bruce Sawyer, Marie Sawyer, Alania Sawyer, Matthew Sperduto, Kelly Sperduto, Daniel Sperduto, and Cheyanne Brady; a great-grandson, Mayson Martinez; and brothers, Jim Brady and wife Lucille and Joe Brady and wife Jackie.

Cremation and arrangements have been handled by Coffman Funeral Home in Harrison.

There was a memorial service held Tuesday, March 26, 2013 at Coffman Funeral Home Chapel in Harrison with Rev. Eric Stefanski officiating.
