John Edd Bell, of Harrison, Arkansas, passed away September 25, 2020, at the age of 93. He was born to Chester and Mary Little Bell in the Hilltop community September 26, 1926, the last of their 7 children.

He was a lifelong resident of the area and a member of the Church of Christ.  In his younger years he was good at whittling and made tool handles for folks.  He also would sharpen knives and tools for others.  John loved to laugh and was thought to be ornery with the help both in his home and later in the care facility.

John was preceded in death by his parents, two infant brothers and three brothers Frank, Carl and Hugh Bell and one sister, Vivian Bell May.

He is survived by his nieces Mary Loyce, Martha, Alice and Karen and his nephews Paul and Darrel and several cousins.

The graveside service will be at Hill Top cemetery on Gaither Mountain, Saturday, October 3, at 11 am with Jimmie Smith officiating.
