John D. Arnold, 68 of Harrison, Arkansas, passed away Tuesday, March 26, 2019 at Harrison Rehabilitation and Health Center.

The son of Joseph Blain and Betty Ruth (Criner) Arnold was born at Harrison, Arkansas on August 14, 1950.

John was a lifelong resident of Harrison and a graduate of Harrison High School in 1968. His dad opened Joe's Auto Salvage when John was 15 and he worked there for 32 years until he retired. He loved working at the salvage yard and visiting with their many customers. He was also an avid reader. John never met a stranger and was a devoted brother and loyal friend.

He was preceded in death by his parents, a brother, Jay Roy Arnold, a sister, Belinda Sue Nolen, a nephew, Glen Arnold and several aunts and uncles.

John is survived by his brother, Joe Arnold and wife Jeanie and his sister, Beverly Nolen and husband Jack all of Harrison; his nieces and nephews, Jason Nolen, Michael Nolen, J.B. Arnold, Stephanie McGarity and Jennifer Arnold; and his aunt, Lola Criner of Harrison, and a host of great nieces and nephews, extended relatives and friends who loved him will miss him.

Graveside memorial service will be held at 2:00 PM, Friday, March 29, 2019 at Arnold Cemetery.
