Obituary
Joan Harris, age 68 of Parthenon, passed away August 25, 2011 at the North Arkansas Regional Medical Center in Harrison.
The daughter of Earl and Marietta (Casey) McArtor was born on January 2, 1943 at Parthenon.
She was a member of the Parthenon Baptist Church. She was a master at quilting, gardening and flowers.
She was preceded in death by her parents.
She is survived by her husband, Robert Harris of the home; sons Clinton Breedlove of Cabot, AR and James Breedlove of Bentonville, AR; daughters Waynette Chambers of Bentonville, AR and Heather Harris of Little Rock, AR; 5 grandchildren, Donny Breedlove, Chetley Breedlove, Casey Breedlove, Max Chambers and Maddie Chambers; and one sister, Roberta Wilson of Harrison, AR.
A memorial service will be held Tuesday August 30 at 10:30 am at the Parthenon Baptist Church with Jamey James officiating.
In lieu of flowers donations may be made to Habitat for Humanity, 121 Habitat Street, Americus GA 31709-3498.
